Backpack Donation

In February 2024, Countless Cares for Cambodia began a donation campaign to raise $1000 worth of backpacks for a rural elementary school located in Ralei (Chlor) Village, Kratie Province, Cambodia. With the help of Ms. Dalin and the HOCC (Help Our Community Club) based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, these backpacks, along with school supplies containing writing materials, coloring books, and other educational supplies were delivered to these students in time for Children’s Day on June 9, 2024. Countless Cares for Cambodia even exceeded the originally proposed amount by $355. The total amount raised for these backpacks and materials was $1355. We are so thankful to all who donated to this campaign! We couldn’t have done it without you all. A special thanks, as well, to Ms. Dalin and the HOCC team for their contributions in transporting and delivering these materials from Phnom Penh to Kratie!

A New Water Pump for Ralei Village

With the funds provided by Countless Cares for Cambodia, a new water pump was purchased for the elementary school in Ralei Village. The water pump will help support and improve the school’s sanitary and hygiene system, aiding the students and teachers of the school.

Countless Cares for Cambodia “Bake Sale for Backpacks”

On May 25, 2024, Countless Cares for Cambodia held an event called “Bake Sale for Backpacks” where we raised $355 for our 2024 Backpack Donation Campaign. The event was held in Charlotte, North Carolina’s Promenade on Providence shopping center by Ethan Kong, the co-founder of Countless Cares for Cambodia, and two volunteers, Sahithi Karusala and Kaylee Tedjo. All three of them spent over 6 hours baking and preparing the items that were sold at the bake sale. We were able to educate many visitors about the inequality in education among children in Cambodia, especially in the rural parts of the country, due to factors such as forced child labor and lack of governmental support, and how easy it is for us to take simple, everyday resources for granted here in the US. A big thanks to our co-founder and volunteers for this successful event, and to all who attended! Each donation contributed to an amazing cause!
